Emma’s Exercise
“Leg Stretch Series 1, 2 and 3 – Chair Version”
Here is the chair version of yesterday’s post. This is great to do if you cannot lie on your back or get down to the ground. No scarf or prop is necessary. It’s okay if you don’t use anything.
PLEASE NOTE- We all have secret pockets of tension stored in our bodies in different areas. You may not feel a stretch in the same position as I am showing. That’s okay! Give yourself the freedom to play around with the angles of your body (legs, spine, torso, etc). We will not all look the same when stretching. Stretches that feel good in my body and work for me may not necessarily work for you.
Learning this will contribute greatly to your body awareness skills and you are about to acquire many points by practicing the above!
